Nemours BrightStart!’s new website has launched!

Nemours BrightStart!’s new website, www.ReadingBrightStart.org has launched! The new website offers free, interactive tools designed for parents of children ages birth through five to learn about and explore with their children. The centerpiece is the Preschool Reading Screener for 3- to 5-year olds, to give parents an accurate snapshot of their child’s pre-reading skills. Based on the results, a customized action plan will guide parents in prioritizing selected activities and recommended books. Arsht Cannon Fund’s grant, from 2010 to 2013, brought the first version of BrightStart! to Delaware for implementation with pre-schoolers at risk for reading difficulties.
